Microsoft is set to launch a new browser for its operating system amid negative criticism of its current browser Internet Explorer.

The compony has already rolled out Windows 10 preview that has Internet Explorer.

Chris Capossela the group’s lead marketing chief announced that a new browser, code named ‘project spartan’, was set to be released with a new name.

Internet Explorer was released in 1995 and has attracted so much negative critism.

For some it was a browser used to download secondary browsers then its use was done till probably when the computer would be reformatted.

Others termed it ‘slow and buggy’ and did not want any Internet activity done through it.

Microsoft is currently conducting market research and it has come clear that the new browser will be far away from the current browser but will be tagged ‘Microsoft’  The Verge reports.

The group will however use Internet Explorer alongside the New browser.

“We’ll continue to have Internet Explorer, but we’ll also have a new browser called Project Spartan, which is codenamed Project Spartan. We have to name the thing.” Mr. Capossela said.

Let us wait and see if the new browser will meet users demands.
